Like me, I am sure that many cigar smokers out there do not wish to pay the prices commanded by most of the brands out there, although they are able to tell the difference between a good and bad cigar. I have found the Cigars made by J. Piedra to fill the gap between a hamlet in the pub (wich I wouldn't recommend), and the more expensive lines of cigar which you may have the opportunity to smoke less often than you would like. If properly maintained in a humidor, these cigars are all you can hope for, especially at the price, which is around 10% of the cost of other cuban brands. Having now bought these several times, I would recommend them for anybody new to cigar smoking, they have an a slightly sweet flavour, with an even draw from begining to end. Also the smoke is not too heavy, which being a relative novice myself, I find is pleasing. Best enjoyed over a game of poker, it always impresses the friends, without hitting the pocket too hard!
